This beautiful antique Singer New Family 12 (marked 8513342, 2133042) Hand Crank Sewing Machine was manufactured in the 1888 lot in Elizabeth, NJ. The shuttle and bobbin are intact. The paint and decals are in great. Needle scratches, chips, blemishes and wear as can be seen in the photos and expected for its age. The stenciling is outstanding and the fiddle base makes this model highly collectable.
The original bentwood case is in excellent functional and cosmetic condition with minimal wear and blemishes. The machine has been oiled and turns freely. I have not sewn with this machine. What a great machine for the collector or maybe to use! Please review the detailed photo (Note: White specks are dust from cleaning rag).
