Original 1910 Antique Red-Eye SINGER Treadle Sewing Machine & Table Cabinet, Model G8148002. I believe this is the original 1910 antique Singer Manufacturing Co. What you see is exactly what you get; i. T comes complete with the antique solid oak wood drop-in cabinet style sewing table and cast iron treadle & stand. I was told that its often referred as Red eye or red head, a development of the earlier scroll design with copious red and green, officially scroll red.

This industrial-strength machine is designed with ornate decals on the face & oil plate. The sewing table has 4 side drawers, 1 center flip open drawer, and a folding top. Underneath the table is the encased sewing machine, which is stored on its side and easily flips upright when ready to use.

No electricity needed to sew with this true antique sewing machine, you simply pump your foot on the treadle! If you've ever dreamed of sewing like our ancestors did over 100 years ago, this is the machine for you! The entire machine and treadle base have been cleaned and lubricated and is ready for use. All original parts, and lots of extra sewing pieces included as well (not shown in photos). The machine is fully functional and is in great working condition.

All the decals are still in excellent shape. Includes all parts; bobbin, hinges, etc.

Never restored, original painting and parts, maintenance only. The machine sews very well at slow or fast speed and treadle works perfectly. Cabinet table is in good condition with sturdy, tight hardware but.

Has a couple of faint cup (ring) marks but. Could easily be gently sanded/refinished. Once sanded and refinished, I recommend a coat of polyurethane for a durable shine finish. Check out other things we have for sale too, such as vintage furniture and collectibles!
