This is converted to electric. G- 8001526 8051525 66 50000 April 28 1920.

This a MODEL 66-4 born, APRIL-28-1920. Happens to be the 12th Machine built in that Production Run. This Singer was a TREADLE Machine, someone has changed to Electric, as Many were modified during the WWII era.

This does have what looks to be a replaced motor as it's not a singer brand motor. The motor is a YDK YM-40 sewing motor. More information on this motor is pictured. This also appears to have new wiring run and plugs.

This comes with 2 foot controller pedals. One is original to the machine and is not Tested. It does have a cracked outlet casing for the motor and the light as pictured. This foot petal does have a new plug attached to it.

When connected to the smaller pedal, the machine functions and moves the needle. That's about as far as testing went. The smaller pedal is made by Mercury electric Co. The parts do show some light surface rust and very minor pitting beginning on some.

The balance winder appears to be in good condition and spins nicely. The knob connected to the backside of it shows rust. The bobbin winder pully will need replaced as it looks dry and brittle. It shows cracking and missing material on it. Belt cover is present and the belt appears to be replaced as it looks clean and not dry.

All of the bobbin winder parts are present on the machine and the stop latch seems to function. The stitch regulating thumbscrew is also present, but does show some use and discoloration but does turn.

The Singer badge is attached and although it has some discoloration, it's still readable and in tact well. Spool pin shows light rusting. The arm and the bed are is really nice overall shape. The design is still very well visible. There are surface scratches a minor little flaws like the coating chipping.

Please remember the age of this when purchasing. This is in Vintage condition.

Face plate on this is very nice! Bed slide works nicely and there is some white thread attached in the smaller inner bobbin. This does not come with a bulb but has the light holder attached.
