1922 Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head 127 Fully Tested Sews A Perfect Stitch

  

Singer treadle sewing machine head model 127 dating 1922 by serial number G945362 decorated in the lovely Sphinx decals. This is the smoothest running treadle head I've seen to date. This amazing machine runs wiith no friction at all, runs incredibly quietly and sews the most perfect stitches top and bottom as seen in my photos.

This is a testament to the incredible quality of these antique Singers. It threaded up perfectly, stitch tension was spot on and take up spring worked exactly how it should.

Stitch length knob adjusting stitch length perfectly! Cosmetically this Singer has some wear on the sewing side edge decorations as seen, all the rest of the Sphinx decals are in nice condition, bright and colorful. There was a motor on this machine some time in the past and they mounted it on the bed so there are a couple of small holes at the back on the bed under the side coverbplate where they mounted it. Our price on this machine reflects these things.
