Here is a stunningand beautiful antique, Singer hand crank sewing machine dated 1925 by serial number Y3359448 and housed in a gorgeous Bentwood case. This case is antique and appears to be the original case for this machine.
This machine is completely original and has its original Simanco hand crank device which runs the machine as smooth as the day it was. This superb 15k with lovely Sphinx decorations is a fairly rare Hand Crank as it has an unusual and rare bed decal. I have only seen one other machine with this decal. Instead of the usual Sphinx on the bed it has a circular decal with flower border and what I think is either Persian or Arabic letters applied.
It certainly is rare to see this decal! We threaded it up and it sewed beautiful stitches as seen in photos. Everything is fully functional, bobbin winder, tensioner, stitch length control all tested to be in full working condition. Comes with a lot of attachments and presser feet, bobbin case, some tools and 4 bobbins. The model 15 bobbins and parts are very easy to find.
Condition is excellent for this antique, runs superbly, smooth with no friction and sews perfectly. The gorgeous Shinx decals are in excellent bright condition with just a little wear sewing side edge. Balance wheel, hand crank device, ornate front and side covers all in excellent condition. Black lacquer paint nice and shiny showing very little wear.
This machine has been fully tested, lubed, adjusted and is ready to sew.
