The Bentwood Oak cover has a metal handle that is not broken and is secure, the Singer logo is almost completely gone, it has no dents or dings and the finish is in fair condition with lots of varnish missing. The finish on the wood base completely smooth, but has a crack on one corner as shown by the pictures. I have a key (NOT included in this listing) from another Singer sewing machine that I have listed and that locks and unlocks the cover smoothly. The needle moves smoothly, the light works great when plugged in but that is all I attempted to do as it seems it is missing a foot or knee control. 17" L x 8" D x 12 H (not including the handle) and weighs almost 32 lbs.
This a gorgeous, I believe could be a working, antique electric sewing machine worthy of any serious collector. ANY ITEM NOT PAID FOR WITHIN THREE DAYS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE RELISTED. Do not discard original packaging. Losing your original packaging will void your claim.
