Antique Singer Chain stitch 24-3 Sewing Machine Head Restored. This is an earlier version the 24-3. 1st it was bathed in penetrating oil to get all the parts moving.

Then many an hour was spend cleaning out all the old dirt and debris. All the components the metal were removed and repolished. The machine was then oiled with sewing machine oil. 2 Coats of Tung oil varnish were applied to give it some shine and to stabilize the paint. It runs beautifully like the day it was made.
