Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine in Oak Cabinet, Pre- 1900. Oak Cabinet and Cast Iron Base in excellent shape for age. Cabinet has cosmetic visible veneer wear on top and especially on the top underside and the veneer by the sewing machine itself (see pictures). Wood itself is in great shape.
4 side drawers and a middle drawer that all work. Needs the belt repaired or a new one, because it is cut and the other half is in the drawer. The serial number has no letters, which dates the machine to pre-1900. There are some extra long shaped antique bobbins in the middle drawer for the cylinder bobbin holder on the machine, etc. Some paint loss on the design of the golden sphinx Singer sewing machine (see pictures). Sewing machine needle moves up and down good with wheel.I have not used the sewing machine and have not had it serviced. Overall, everything is intact as a whole cabinet with drawers, sewing machine and cast iron base with wheels. This item is in the category "Antiques\Sewing (Pre-1930)\Sewing Machines".
