Antique1909 Singer 27 Sewing Machine w Rare Pheasant decals. Based on serial number D895917, this machine was manufactured on March 9, 1909. It would have been mounted in a treadle base. There is some corrosion noted, but surprisingly little. There are a couple of rust spots on the balance wheel.

Decals are worn away especially on the machine bed, and there is surface wear to the front edge of the machine and on the pillar. (see photos please) The machine could benefit from a professional cleaning. Put in a treadle cabinet, or with the addition of a hand crank or electric motor, it could still be used as intended. Or would make an unusual addition to a collection. Please see photos and ask any questions.
