Here is a gorgeous, antique, Singer Treadle sewing machine dating to 1906 by serial number H 993428 with the lovely Pheasant decoration scheme. One of the most beautiful decal patterns the Pheasant decals are truly beautiful. This machine was tested and sews a beautiful stitch as seen in my photos. It also runs as smooth and quiet as the day is was made 116 years ago. Tensioner and take up spring in excellent condition and bobbin winder works perfectly. Cosmetic condition is very good with most of the beautiful original decals in excellent bright vivid condition.
The main bed decal of the Pheasant is in perfect condition. The black enamel paint is also in very good condition, nice and shiny black with some wear on the bed and edge on the sewing side, not surprising after 116 years. Front and side plates in excellent condition as are the slide plates. There is some wear on the handwheel. Comea with two extra bobbins and the bullet shuttle is in the machine.
This is a lovely true antique machine that still sews beautifully! Most our items are antique or vintage and have typical minor wear expected of an item from that period. We look over all our items carefully and photograph and mention in our description any specific damage.
