During that time it was known as just a vibrating shuttle (VS) machine, now we know there were several flavors of the machine. They are known as the VS, VS2, VS3 which eventually became model 27 127 28 & 128. They are very easy to use.

The serial number makes it built in the Kilbowie plant in Clydebank Scotland in 1911 making her 112 years young! Includes VS Shuttle with 3 total bobbins - 1 bobbin in place in the shuttle. Hand wheel / brake works properly. Case is very solid & clean - Aesthetic flaws commensurate with age. Runs smooth and easy and sews a good stitch.

Case is solid and has been checked over and may have a repair so that now it is super solid and strong. New rubber feet are installed.

There is a key but it's not really a key - it's a tool that someone thought was a key and they tied it to the case (this is very common to see).
