Excellent 1950s Singer Sewing machine model 191B made in France. Super nice quality sewing machine, heavy all steel construction with all steel gears made to last a lifetime! This 191B has a very similar shape to the later 201k and I think sews as good as a 201. The stitches it produces are perfect. It looks great in its light creamy tan paint and runs and sews as good as it looks.
We threaded it up and sewed all the stitches in my photo. It runs fast, smooth and sews beautifully! We tested everything, bobbin winder, stitch length adjustment, tensioner, feed dogs knob, light and everything is in perfect operating condition. Condition is very good, cosmetically a typical few nicks in the paint on the edge sewing side. Very attractive paint color and and a very beautiful front cover plate make this a great collectable sewing machine. All wiring in excellent condition.
The quality of this machine is extremely high and it shows with how fast and smooth it runs and sews. Singer was making very high quality machines during the 1950s.
Comes with pedal controller, power cord, a blind stitch attachment, 8 bobbins, the bobbin case and an extra foot.
