Singer 128-23 Sewing Machine LA VENCEDORA with BENTWOOD CASE and Manual NICE
Acquired from a little antique shop, but needed a lot of attention. The serial number is: G7465138 which dates it to the year 1919. After a lot of work, I got it cleaned, oiled, and adjusted and it runs really well (see video to hear it run and see the perfect stitching). I think the beautiful stenciling is in very good condition, with no visible pin rash or bad scratches. The bobbin shuttle is in perfect condition. I believe everything is original except the obviously replaced motor, cord, and foot control. But since I used it, I know it operates very well. The bentwood case is very nice, with good handle and only light imperfections in the wood. But again: the case is missing a latch as shown in photo, and missing the key, but both could be replaced.
And, those cases are not really strong enough to carry the machines anyway, so I just use it to cover the machine anyway. It is in intact, and in very good condition.
For those who don't know: this is a 3/4 size machine, a smaller version of the 127, with just as much power. Really nice, pretty little machine that I would keep if I did not have so many. I love sewing machines and it has evolved into an enjoyable hobby.
