Singer Tan 306W Sewing Machine, Case, Manual, Bobbin Case, Bobbins, New Needles, 1954 Tested and works great. The lamp cord has been replaced as the insulation on the old one disintegrated and was no longer safe. The 306W model was made in Bridgeport Connecticut in the years 1953 and 1954 only. This one has the matt textured finish tan on the main body of the machine and glossy tan on the base and on the hand wheel. The foot controller is a newer Singer Brand model CR 303 unit that is much more reliable than the older ones.

The original manual is included as well as six bobbins. These machines require a shorter 206 needle so I incuded a new package. The machine is very clean and in very nice condition. The only flaw I can find is that there is a chip off of the plastic piece where the foot switch plugs into the machine. Although this should not be an issue as the plug does fit snuggly.

It has been recently cleaned and oiled. Sews straight stitch, and zigzag.

The case is solid, but does have a number of places where the outer fabric has been scraped off. Please see photos for items included, and exact condition.
