This machine was manufactured in Clydebank, Scotland in 1935 the British model number is Y9686707. Besides the obviously beautiful design and details Singer added a hidden storage which can be accessed by lifting the machine up in this compartment area you will find a owners manual, spools, handheld tool, bobbin, pins, and sewing needles all original to this machine. The sewing machine has a few areas of wear on the gold print as pictured. The coffin box has a area of scratches about 1 1/2-2 inches wide located above the singer label to the right hand side. The coffin case case comes with the original key which is fully functional.
